JUNO Atlas V Launch

A ULA Atlas 551 booster, carrying NASA's Juno Jupiter probe, stands ready for launch on Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral AFS in Florida. "551" indicated that the booster is using a 5 meter fairing, has 5 solid rocket boosters, and the Centaur second stage has one engine. This is AV-29 - the 29th Atlas V to be launched. This is only the second time this configuration has flowen. This is the most powerful Atlas configuration flown to date
